Lynn's work has sold world-wide and is known for its clarity, color and vibrant energy. She is best known for her large floral watercolors.
As a young Catholic nun, Lynn studied art and design at Immaculate Heart College in Los Angeles California. There, Lynn worked with artist
and printmaker, Sister Corita Kent (whose works still hangs at MOMA, NY). Corita’s use of bright primary colors influenced Lynn’s early paintings and prints.
Lynn was first a serigrapher, hand pulling large folk-art-inspired prints in her garage. Before long, she turned to watercolor and drawing.
Locally, her work first gained public attention when she was asked to design and paint the first Examiner Bay to Breakers running poster in 1982.
She continued to produce the sports posters each year for 5 additional years. Subsequently, she created posters for Highlands Inn,
The Nature Company, Moscow International Marathon, just to name a few. Her posters are now highly collectable.
She began focusing on florals and colored pencil drawings in the 90’s. The painting struck a cord with many collectors who recognized
her unique use of color. Lynn’s paintings hang in homes, restaurants, and hotels in several countries and throughout the United States.
